Job Description

A. Operational Execution

  • Assist in the end to end process of freight forwarding shipments (Ocean, Land & Air), including documentation, coordination with carriers, vendors, and shippers.
  • Learn and adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), compliance requirements, and  operational systems (GM2 System).
  • Support the customer service and operations teams in resolving daily operational issues.

B. Business & Data Support

  • Cultivate strong business relationships with overseas clients and agent partners.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to overseas clients and agent partners.
  • Offering prices to overseas clients and agent partners, negotiating pricing with overseas clients and agent  partners, good after-sales service.
  • Assist the OBD Manager with data collection, analysis, and the preparation of performance reports (e.g., KPIs on shipment status, costs, profitability).
  • Conduct market research and provide insights to support business development initiatives.
  • Prepare regular operational reports and provide constructive feedback to supervisors for process  improvement.

C. Project & Contract Logistics  Development

  • Participate in and contribute to cross country projects aimed at improving efficiency, service quality, or system implementation.
  • Gain exposure to specialized logistics services, including Project Logistics and Contract Logistics, as part of  structured learning and development.
  • Actively engage in all formal training sessions and learning modules within the Management Trainee program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, specifically in a Customer Service (CS) or Operations (OPS) role.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and strong professional English communication skills (verbal and  written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven adaptability and a strong willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
